A Journey Through Time and Nature
Sandakphu-Phalut is celebrated as one of India’s most breathtaking treks, renowned for its unparalleled panoramic views of four of the world’s five highest peaks—Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu.
This trek is particularly famous for the iconic "Sleeping Buddha" view of Kangchenjunga, making it a must-visit destination for trekkers and nature enthusiasts. Maneybhanjyang, often referred to as the "Gateway to Sandakphu," serves as the base camp for this extraordinary journey.

The Natural Splendor
Sandakphu, standing tall at 3,636 meters, is a majestic peak in the Singhalila range of the Himalayas. It forms part of the ridge that stretches from Kangchenjunga to the Indian plains, acting as a natural boundary between Sikkim, Darjeeling, and Nepal.
Maneybhanjyang, nestled at 1,928 meters and located 26 km from Darjeeling town, is the starting point for the Sandakphu trek. Situated within the Singhalila National Park, the village’s expansion is carefully regulated to preserve the surrounding forest and its delicate ecosystem.
