BEST TIME FOR THE TREK

As these trek falls under Wildlife Forest Department, to trek in this area, all has to follow the rules of the forest Department. So, in a whole year, according to forest rules from June 15th to September 15th (Three months) the National Park remains closed which means there will be no trekking in this monsoon time as it is the breeding period of the animals. So, tourist can trek in the rest of the nine-months from September 15th to June 14th (9mts.). But within these the best time are.

  1. 1. Mid October to mid December for mountain lovers as the day remains sunny.
  2. 2. Mid December to mid March for snow lovers as there are chances for snow.
  3. 3. Mid March to Mid June is the flower season where verities of rhododendron, primulas, orchids, Magnolia, Himalayan Iris etc. blossoms in this season along with beautiful Mountain View.

Note: Trekking uptill Tumling, Homestay, short village trekker’s can come at any time as there is no restriction for them.

Clothing :

  1. i. Summer-Light woolens,jackets,
  2. ii. Winter-Heavy woolen,jackets,
  3. iii. Rain coats, Good trekking shoes, Caps, Gloves in winter, Wind shitters, Extra pair of socks, other cloths as you required.
  4. iv. Medicine and first aid kits.
